The following are envisioned Arab Y.E.S. projects:
- Conferences and Seminars on Faith & Science: These would include Muslim, Christian and Jewish scientists who share perspectives on the origins of the universe and the integration of their faith and professional life. Scientists are probably best suited to conduct a scholarly, respectful dialogue as they do this all the time in their scientific endeavors.
- Development of a Network of Scientists of Faith: While some similar networks exist, this network would have the uniqueness of including a large participation of both Muslims, Christians and Jews.
- Bioethics: There is an urgent need for thought leaders in the monotheistic religions to make a public pronouncement in the realm of bioethics. Of particular concern is the CRISPR Cas9 technology that allows the manipulation of human genes, with an impact that will be transferred through succeeding generations.
- Permanent Centers of T-STEAM: These could include maker spaces, schools, robotics labs and historic exhibits on scientists of faith that explain their motivation for their pursuit of science. T-STEAM is Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math from a Theistic Perspective.
- Presentations of Science & Faith in universities and primary & secondary schools: These would encourage youth to integrate their faith with science and provide them current and historic examples of men and women scientists of faith, many of whom provided the foundations of science as we know it.
